Well, today's class lecture and group facilitators was interesting. The idea of being able to trick or confuse your mind with the difference between virtual reality with reality or being effected physically in the real world by what you experience mentally in VR is just an idea that is hard to grasp. I think that it is so difficult to because we have not been able to really experience the phenomenon. Unlike the movie, "the Matrix," we are not offered a blue or red pill. Also the absense of a "body" in VR is interesting in that it gives you the ablity of experiencing real life events with out, or if you choose with, the physical restrictions of a body. However, if you wanted a body, I'm sure you'd be able to get one. It's interesting to think that when VR is popular, or ever will be, the characteristics of the virtual world, community and person will be just itself interesting to witness. Maybe I'm not making any sense. Well I guess I won't know until I experience it for myself which could never happen. Who knows.
